Simple Southern Cabbage

You Will Need
- Broccoli – two heads,
chopped into florets - 2 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt - ¼ teaspoon pepper
- Optional:
Lemon wedges
Grated parmesan cheese
What To Do
- In a medium stockpot, sauté cabbage in olive oil over medium heat.
- Add seasonings and continue to sauté for 5-10 minutes as cabbage reduces.
- After cabbage has reduced to half of its original volume, add vinegar and broth.
- Bring the cabbage mixture back to a soft boil and drop the heat to a simmer again. Cover the pot and allow to cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
